MEET POPPO!!!

This is Poppo (my dad) and, of course, my mom!

Poppo and Mom (aka Dick and Jean Subber) live in New Jersey and are standing in the living room of the only house I've ever called "home." They were married in 1945 and have lived in NJ, in this house, since 1951. Poppo is a retired Letter Carrier (U.S. Postal Service) and is a WWII veteran. Mom in active in a number of local charities and enjoys sewing and doing jigsaw puzzles. Both volunteer as Blood Drive Captains and do volunteer work at a local hospital. They enjoy going to plays given by local theater groups and stay so active that I wonder how it is they ever worked full time and raised a family!

Poppo enjoys playing the chef and Mom happily washes up the pots, pans, and assorted bowls that he uses. Together, they "whomp up" simple, yet ever-so-tasty, meals.
